Project Overview

We recently had the opportunity to work on the What's Up Rincón app, a project that involved converting their website into a mobile app. In this case study, we'll go into the details of the project, from the initial concept to the final product, and everything in between.

About the App

WhatsUpRincon is a local digital guide covering events, news, restaurants, and things to do in Rincón and Puerto Rico’s west coast.

Here's a brief overview of the What's Up Rincón app as it is presented in the app stores:

Discover What's Up Rincón, your source for events, insider tips, dining, shopping, and more in Rincón and western Puerto Rico. Stay informed about what's happening, explore local business listings, and check out our Readers’ Choice award winners. Never miss out on what's up!

App Creation

The What's Up Rincón app was created using our self-serve platform, which allows customers to design and customize their app with ease. This approach provides flexibility and control over the app's appearance and functionality, enabling customers to create an app that meets their specific requirements. Our support team is always available to assist customers throughout the app creation process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.

In addition to the self-serve platform, we also offer a range of additional features that can enhance the app's functionality. These features include push notifications and more. By incorporating these features, we ensure that the What's Up Rincón app is equipped with the tools it needs to engage users effectively and provide a seamless user experience.

Publishing the App

During the app publishing process, it's not uncommon to encounter an app rejection from either Google or Apple. Typically these are minor issues, like accidentally providing incorrect links or information in the app store listing. Sometimes there's also a need for small website changes to make sure the content of the app is in compliance with the app store rules.

But with our extensive experience from creating and publishing hundreds of apps, such app rejections pose no long-term problem. We quickly work with our customers to resolve the underlying cause of the issues and submit the app for review again. And we know exactly how to respond to Apple's trick questions in order to make sure the app is in compliance with the app review guidelines, so we can avoid unnecessary delays in the app review process.

The app is now available for download on the app stores, allowing users to access What's Up Rincón on their mobile devices. The What's Up Rincón team is excited about the app's launch and looks forward to user feedback.

By now, the app has been downloaded over 200 times already! The users seem to be quite happy with the app, since they have rated it 5.0 stars on average based on 2 reviews.

Project Recap

The What's Up Rincón app project was a great success, showcasing our ability to convert websites into mobile apps seamlessly. We are thrilled to have delivered a user-friendly app that provides a convenient way for users to access What's Up Rincón's services.
