The Hey!Hallyu app project was a unique opportunity for us to showcase our app development skills. In this case study, we'll provide an overview of the project, the challenges we faced, and the successful outcome we achieved.
About the App
Hey!Hallyu is a Dutch online store specializing in K-pop albums, merchandise, fan goods, events and Korean language resources.

App Design
Our self-serve platform empowers customers to create their own app with ease. This approach provides flexibility and control over the app's design and functionality, allowing customers to customize the app to their specific needs. The Hey!Hallyu app was created using this platform, with our support team available to assist customers throughout the process.
During the app creation, we also add native features that elevate the app above the functionality of just the website. One example for that are push notifications, which you can send at any time through your webtoapp.design dashboard. Or you can even automate them! Of course there are many other features, but we're highlighting the push notification feature because it's one of the most popular features. Many of our customers create an app just for the ability to send notifications.
App Store Submission
App rejections are a common occurrence during the app publishing process, but they are typically minor issues that can be easily resolved. Common reasons for app rejections include incorrect information in the app store listing or issues with the app's functionality. Our team has experience in addressing these issues and working with customers to ensure a successful app launch.
Our team has extensive experience in app publishing and has successfully published numerous apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We are well-versed in the app review process and have encountered and resolved various issues that can arise during the review. We work closely with our customers to address any challenges that may arise and ensure that the app is published in a timely manner.
The app has been successfully published on the app stores, making it accessible to users. The Hey!Hallyu team is delighted with the app's launch and is eager to see how users engage with the app.
In this short time, the app has already been downloaded over 100 times! Users have given the app an average rating of 0.0 stars based on more than 0 ratings.
