The ALBA BERLIN app project was a unique opportunity for us to showcase our app development skills. In this case study, we'll provide an overview of the project, the challenges we faced, and the successful outcome we achieved.
ALBA BERLIN is one of Germany's most successful basketball teams. We created an app for their fans.
To get an even better understanding of the app, here's its app store description:
ALBA BERLIN Basketball - all in one app. Match dates, ticket information, background information on professional sports, youth projects and our many activities at schools and daycare centers: the app always keeps you up to date. And with the push function you get the latest news and offers directly on the screen.
The ALBA BERLIN app was created using our self-serve platform, which allows customers to design and customize their app with ease. This approach provides flexibility and control over the app's appearance and functionality, enabling customers to create an app that meets their specific requirements. Our support team is always available to assist customers throughout the app creation process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
In addition to the core features of the app, we also incorporate additional functionalities to enhance the user experience. These features include push notifications, which allow the ALBA BERLIN team to communicate with users in real-time and keep them informed about important updates and events. By integrating these features, we ensure that the app provides a seamless and engaging experience for users.
During the app publishing process, it's not uncommon to encounter an app rejection from either Google or Apple. Typically these are minor issues, like accidentally providing incorrect links or information in the app store listing. Sometimes there's also a need for small website changes to make sure the content of the app is in compliance with the app store rules.
But with our extensive experience from creating and publishing hundreds of apps, such app rejections pose no long-term problem. We quickly work with our customers to resolve the underlying cause of the issues and submit the app for review again. And we know exactly how to respond to Apple's trick questions in order to make sure the app is in compliance with the app review guidelines, so we can avoid unnecessary delays in the app review process.
The app has been successfully published on the app stores, making it accessible to users. The ALBA BERLIN team is delighted with the app's launch and is eager to see how users engage with the app.
You can download the app on your Android device here.
You can find the app in the Apple App Store.
The app has already been downloaded over 1500 times and has received an average rating of 4.6 stars based on 20 reviews.
The successful launch of the ALBA BERLIN app is a testament to our team's expertise and dedication to delivering exceptional app solutions. We are pleased to have created an app that enhances ALBA BERLIN's online presence and provides users with a seamless mobile experience.

Hi, I'm Jan! I created webtoapp.design in 2019 while studying computer science in university. A lot has changed since then - not only have I graduated, but it's also no longer just me running webtoapp.design. We've grown to a global, fully remote team and have gathered lots of experience around app development and app publishing. We've created and published hundreds of apps in the app stores, where they've been downloaded millions of times.
