The Project

We recently completed the development of the Cupio app, a project that involved converting their website into a mobile app. This case study will take you through the process of creating the app, the features we implemented, and the client's feedback.

App Description

Cupio Nails is the official german reseller of Cupio beauty products. We created an app for their online shop.

Let's take a look at the app's description in the app stores to get a feel for its functionality:

With this app you are always in trend! Always find out when there are new products in the shop and be among the first customers to benefit from discount campaigns and vouchers! Top reasons to install the app: - Fast, convenient, easy shopping directly from the app - track the current status of your orders - Simply put your favorite products on the watch list - never again miss a discount campaign or new products from our range - Contact our customer support directly and easily if you have any questions. Download the free companion app and immerse yourself in the magical world of Cupio!

Creating the Cupio App

The Cupio app was created using our self-serve platform, which provides customers with the tools they need to design and customize their app. This approach allows for greater flexibility and control over the app's appearance and functionality. Our support team is available to assist customers throughout the app creation process, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

During the app creation, we also add native features that elevate the app above the functionality of just the website. One example for that are push notifications, which you can send at any time through your webtoapp.design dashboard. Or you can even automate them! Of course there are many other features, but we're highlighting the push notification feature because it's one of the most popular features. Many of our customers create an app just for the ability to send notifications.

App Launch

During the app publishing process, it's not uncommon to encounter an app rejection from either Google or Apple. Typically these are minor issues, like accidentally providing incorrect links or information in the app store listing. Sometimes there's also a need for small website changes to make sure the content of the app is in compliance with the app store rules.

Our team has extensive experience in app publishing and has successfully published numerous apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We are well-versed in the app review process and have encountered and resolved various issues that can arise during the review. We work closely with our customers to address any challenges that may arise and ensure that the app is published in a timely manner.

After the successful publishing of the app, users can now download and access Cupio on their mobile devices. The Cupio team is pleased with the app's launch and looks forward to user feedback.

You can find the Cupio app in the Google Play Store.

The Cupio app is available for download in the Apple App Store.

The customer has only released the app in Germany.

In this short time, the app has already been downloaded over 1000 times! Users have given the app an average rating of 5 stars based on more than 1 ratings.

Conclusion

The successful creation of the Cupio app is a testament to our team's dedication and expertise in app development. We are proud to have delivered a feature-rich app that meets the client's needs and exceeds their expectations.

The customer's review of our service:

“Very fast implementation, our personalization requests were also taken into account. In addition, the support is also very fast and friendly with questions! We can only recommend it!”

Hi, I'm Jan! I created webtoapp.design in 2019 while studying computer science in university. A lot has changed since then - not only have I graduated, but it's also no longer just me running webtoapp.design. We've grown to a global, fully remote team and have gathered lots of experience around app development and app publishing. We've created and published hundreds of apps in the app stores, where they've been downloaded millions of times.
