Project Overview

We recently completed the development of the HRB app, a project that involved converting their website into a mobile app. This case study will take you through the process of creating the app, the features we implemented, and the client's feedback.

App Overview

HRB is a wholesale business for house technology professionals.

Here's a brief overview of the HRB app as it is presented in the app stores:

HRB trade for building technology. You should remember this name well! Because we at HRB stand for 25 years of experience in heating technology with a focus on "spare parts". With our app you have the advantage that you always have our complete online shop at hand and we can keep you up to date on our topics and you won't miss anything important. You can also benefit from our technical know-how and our pick-up and shipping warehouse in Münster/Westphalia.

Developing the HRB App

The HRB team opted for our self-serve approach, which allows customers to configure and customize their app to their liking. This approach offers flexibility and control, enabling users to tailor the app's appearance and functionality based on their specific needs. However, customers are not alone in this process - they always have the option to seek assistance from our dedicated support team whenever needed.

During the app creation, we also add native features that elevate the app above the functionality of just the website. One example for that are push notifications, which you can send at any time through your webtoapp.design dashboard. Or you can even automate them! Of course there are many other features, but we're highlighting the push notification feature because it's one of the most popular features. Many of our customers create an app just for the ability to send notifications.

App Launch

App rejections are a common occurrence during the app publishing process, but they are typically minor issues that can be easily resolved. Common reasons for app rejections include incorrect information in the app store listing or issues with the app's functionality. Our team has experience in addressing these issues and working with customers to ensure a successful app launch.

Our team has extensive experience in app publishing and has successfully published numerous apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We are well-versed in the app review process and have encountered and resolved various issues that can arise during the review. We work closely with our customers to address any challenges that may arise and ensure that the app is published in a timely manner.

The app has been successfully published on the app stores, making it accessible to users. The HRB team is delighted with the app's launch and is eager to see how users engage with the app.

You can find the HRB app in the Google Play Store.

Download the HRB app from the iOS/iPadOS App Store.

In this short time, the app has already been downloaded over 100 times! Users have given the app an average rating of 0 stars based on more than 0 ratings.

Conclusion

The HRB app project was a great success, showcasing our ability to convert websites into mobile apps seamlessly. We are thrilled to have delivered a user-friendly app that provides a convenient way for users to access HRB's services.

The customer's review of the app creation process:

“We are very satisfied with our new app. Additionally, we would like to highlight the extremely fast, competent, and friendly support from webtoapp.design, which helped us with the publication in the stores as well as with any questions in a completely uncomplicated manner. Thank you very much!”

Hi, I'm Jan! I created webtoapp.design in 2019 while studying computer science in university. A lot has changed since then - not only have I graduated, but it's also no longer just me running webtoapp.design. We've grown to a global, fully remote team and have gathered lots of experience around app development and app publishing. We've created and published hundreds of apps in the app stores, where they've been downloaded millions of times.
