The Project

We recently had the opportunity to work on the Reyes Cup app, a project that involved converting their website into a mobile app. In this case study, we'll go into the details of the project, from the initial concept to the final product, and everything in between.

App Features

Reyes Cup is the mobile app for a football tournament in Spain.

To get an even better understanding of the app, here's its app store description:

Discover the Reyes Cup, an exciting youth soccer tournament for Alevín and Benjamín categories. This unique event not only pays tribute to José Antonio Reyes, but also focuses on the physical and personal development of young players. Participate in an environment of coexistence, where teams from different communities face the best schools and grassroots soccer clubs. The Reyes Cup promotes physical health, camaraderie and the desire to compete at the highest level. Join us in this celebration of football, friendship and fair play. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of the Reyes Cup!

Developing the Reyes Cup App

The Reyes Cup app was created using our self-serve platform, which provides customers with the tools they need to design and customize their app. This approach allows for greater flexibility and control over the app's appearance and functionality. Our support team is available to assist customers throughout the app creation process, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

In addition to the core features of the app, we also incorporate additional functionalities to enhance the user experience. These features include push notifications, which allow the Reyes Cup team to communicate with users in real-time and keep them informed about important updates and events. By integrating these features, we ensure that the app provides a seamless and engaging experience for users.

App Store Launch

During the app publishing process, it's not uncommon to encounter an app rejection from either Google or Apple. Typically these are minor issues, like accidentally providing incorrect links or information in the app store listing. Sometimes there's also a need for small website changes to make sure the content of the app is in compliance with the app store rules.

We have a wealth of experience in app publishing and have successfully published many apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Our team is well-versed in the app review process and has encountered and resolved various issues that can arise during the review. We work closely with our customers to address any challenges that may arise and ensure that the app is published without unnecessary delays.

The app is now live on the app stores, and the Reyes Cup team is excited to share it with users. Users can now download the app and enjoy the convenience of accessing Reyes Cup on their mobile devices.

Final Thoughts

Transforming the Reyes Cup website into a mobile app was a rewarding experience for both us and our client. We were able to deliver a high-quality, cross-platform mobile app that enhanced the user experience and added value to Reyes Cup's services.

And here's what our customer thought:

“It is an easy and efficient service, the attention to detail is great and they accompany you all the way. I recommend it to anyone who needs this service, it is one of the best I have seen.”

Hi, I'm Jan! I created webtoapp.design in 2019 while studying computer science in university. A lot has changed since then - not only have I graduated, but it's also no longer just me running webtoapp.design. We've grown to a global, fully remote team and have gathered lots of experience around app development and app publishing. We've created and published hundreds of apps in the app stores, where they've been downloaded millions of times.
